Shipping Information

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are sent from our offices in France. No additional taxes and/or duties will be applied in Europe.

The French Parrot offers international free standard delivery. Please note that free shipping will be applied to your order at checkout. When placing your order please ensure that the billing and shipping address details are correct, as we are unable to redirect.

When your order is shipped, we will send you a confirmatory email. Before we can dispatch your purchases, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum.

Shipping is free of charge.

DELIVERY TIME

Europe: 2-7 business days

International: 5-12 business days

Delivery times are estimates and provided as guidelines only. Please note that in some areas there is a limited range of delivery services available. We make every effort to ship out orders as quickly as possible but cannot be responsible for delays as a result of remote delivery locations, or adverse weather conditions. During the sales and holiday periods, the large amount of orders can result in longer delivery times.

For security reasons, all thefrenchparrot.com online purchases require a signature upon delivery. Please be aware that our service is not a named delivery service and anyone at the designated delivery address may sign for your delivery. We will not be liable for a lost or missing order that has been signed for in a building, for example an office address that has been provided for delivery.

TRACK MY ORDER

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email from our customer care team containing a tracking link.

RETURN A PRODUCT

The French Parrot has a 14-day return policy : you have 14 days from when your order is delivered to contact us and ship your product back to our return center for a refund or exchange: contact@thefrenchparrot.com.

- All returns & exchanges are free of charge in Europe. A return label will be sent via email.

- For all returns and exchanges outside of the European Union, customers will be required to cover postage.

Returned items must comply with our returns policy : items must be returned in their original condition with all tags attached in the branded packaging provided. This is also to ensure that item(s) arrives back to us in a suitable and undamaged state. Handbags and accessories must be returned with the original branded boxes and dust bags, where provided, and placed inside a protective outer box for shipping.

Please take care when trying on your purchases and return them in the same condition you received them. Returns that have been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted and may be sent back to you and/or a refund refused. Any parcel returned after the prescribed timeframe shall be refused and returned to the sender. The costs and risks pertaining to the return of product(s) are borne by the sender. The French Parrot is not responsible for the refund of any import tax/duty that your order may have incurred during return. The French Parrot cannot be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or damage of the returned parcel. We reserve the right to refuse returned parcels for which the customers identification (surname, first name, address) is not present or recognizable.

After receiving the returned product refunds will be credited to your original method of payment. Original shipping charges, duties, taxes or tariffs will not be refunded. Once your order has been received and inspected allow 5-10 business days for your refund to be credited back to your original payment method.

Any delivery costs (initial delivery/ returns/clearance) paid by the client throughout their transactions with The French Parrot are non refundable.

 

TAXES AND DUTY

International shipments may be subject to customs duties and import taxes upon entry into the country of destination over which we are unaware. The French Parrot cannot be held accountable for any of these customs duties and import taxes. You should contact your local authorities to take notice of these fees and the respective values that differ from country to country and over which we have no knowledge.
It will be your sole responsibility to claim such import charges back from the applicable authority in your country.

The French Parrot is not responsible for the refund of any import tax/duty that your order may have incurred for returned items.

EXCHANGE RATES

The main currency used by thefrenchparrot.com is the Euro (€). In order to facilitate international payments, thefrenchparrot.com also offers payments in other currencies. Prices in currencies other than the Euro are therefore subject to change according to the exchange rate. The French Parrot shall not be held responsible for any changes in the price of products in currencies other than the Euro according to the current exchange rate.

OUR PAYMENT POLICY

If you have made the payment you will receive a confirmation e-mail that your payment is accepted and an e-mail with the invoice and the details from your order. Once your payment has been processed you will receive a confirmation e-mail with an invoice outlining the details of your order. When your order has shipped you will receive another email containing tracking information, and trace code.

CREDIT CARD

The French Parrot accepts payments via American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Maestro, Mastercard, Shop Pay, Visa. Payment will debited when the order is placed, they are verified by a secure code. 

PAYPAL

The French Parrot accepts payments via PayPal accounts.

The product must be unworn, in its original condition, with original packaging. All attached product labels and logos (if any) must be intact. Damaged products, or products with missing items will not be accepted for return or refund.

Any parcel returned after the prescribed timeframe shall be refused and returned to the sender. The costs and risks pertaining to the return of product(s) are borne by the sender. The French Parrot is not responsible for the refund of any import tax/ duty that your order may have incurred during return. Moreover, any return delivery and clearance costs incurred by the customer when returning products are non- reimbursable or refundable.

PROMO CODES

Customers who have received a promo code for thefrenchparrot.com either by newsletter, through social networks or on approved promotional websites, may enter this code during checkout. Each code has a validity, start and end date and the time limit cannot be extended.

The discount code box is located within the order summary section of the checkout. On mobile, this is collapsed by default. You can still view and enter a discount code by selecting the dropdown arrow next to " Show Order Summary" during the checkout on a mobile device.

Product Information

PRODUCT WARRANTY

The French Parrot products have a 1 year warranty. If damage is due to a technical defect (and not due to normal use) we offer repair services. If the product is within it’s guarantee period and a repair is possible, the restoration will be carried out free of charge.
